Thread: Opinions on EP Virgin Island Bay Rum please !!

Oh !!....Woe is me I took delivery of a 12oz bottle of this stuff,
decanted into a vintage EP glass bottle and....tried it.

I was expecting a life changing moment, but alas....


Very underwhelmed to say the least. Admittedly, this is my first "Bay Rum" experience but
I found the scent "flat", uninteresting, and too Bayleaf-smelling.

Sooo, I demoted it to a barber's bottle until I decide what to do with it.

I'll give it a week and try it again but I'd like to know your opinions
on this product.

I have one bottle of Pinaud Bay Rum and it doesn't goes well on my skin. Burns a lot and make my skin red and very warm. So i have it but i don't use it.
The scent i quite like it, but TOBS is better for me.

I have some and agree it's a bit underwhelming and a little to "soft" smelling. So far my favorites are Dominica (if you can find it) and Royall Bay Rum. Next step for me is to make my own eventually....
