    Default Weird old Avon bottles

I bought some old Avon aftershave today. They were two bucks a pop so I figured why not. They are weird display bottles. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412630959.811171.jpg

They make me think of the aftershave you got dad for Xmas; thinking it was the best ever made since it came in a crazy bottle

Avon was known for that. I think that was the main sales point. Most folks I knew spilled the contents down the drain and kept the bottles.

Most of the bottles I have seen the after shave has turned to turpentine. They had alot of unique bottles.

I'll take some better pics and put them up on that thread. The AS still smells useable, but I'll have to test it out to see if it works on me. Does anyone use or prefer avons aftershaves?

My very first aftershave was Wild Country. Can you imagine? A teenager in Italy wearing WC? And I had to move to Ottawa to learn about Proraso
Life's strange sometimes...Still, WC, is one of my favourites, but I must watch it. I tend to get a little heavy handed. Or is that even possible?

I also like Black Suede, the cologne, not so much the aftershave. Always brings back memories of Fall. And it pairs well with the shower gel.
I've been reading about Tai Winds. Once I can set aside the funds, I will look for that too.

Mesmerize is good too, but I think it smells too "young and trendy" on me, if that makes any sense...

Anyone else? What Avon product do you use?

Picked up a few the other day but haven't tried them out yet. That is next on the to do list.
