Yes, I only ever use OS aftershave. A good old fashioned astringent.

I use it quite a bit but only when I am not going out.
For some reason I have a fear OS may be off-putting to some.
This is probably groundless but I have heard negative comments about OS scent and the one wearing the scent: As in "the old fart smells like gramps:.
Like most, it was my first AS back around 1962.

Thanked: 19I have been using Pinaud's Clubman aftershave for a few years now. It definitely is an old school, manly scent, and feels very good and bracing going on after a shave. Highly recommend it. I may have to try the Old Spice too, though. My dad always used that, but for some reason I never really tried it.

I still use it from time to time. My favorite was the "Fresh Scent" that they put out a few years ago.

Big fan here. I'm 38 and hope to have access to this for the rest of my days. It's still on the shelf for a reason. It's a bottle of pure nostalgia to me as my Dad used it as well as my Grandads. I have old ones, new ones, shaving cream and soap, the lot. The old school deodorant was great too, if only I could still find the greenish/blueish sticks of that too. The stuff that burned your armpits when you applied too much...Tabac still make one like that and I enjoy that scent too.

I use the aftershave once every two weeks or so. I'd like to try the old recipe some day.

Thanked: 481I'm 29, and love the smell of Old spice. The cologne, original deodorant, and the aftershave. I heard the same complaint a little over ten years ago in high school when I first discovered the deodorant. A rather snarky young lady informed me I smelled like an old man. I informed her that she nagged like an old woman. I like to think I won that peeing match.
I'm sure most of your detractors wouldn't even be old enough to shave more than once every 2 weeks. Hardly old enough o have an informed opinion worth any merit. As for the rest...I put the aftershave on for me, not them. So to heck with their opinions.

I love Old Spice. I can still remember my Grandfather slapping it on after using his safety razor (which was a sight to behold being he had only 6 fingers in total for both hands). I still use it on occasion my wife says I smell like an old man wearing it but, she has no problem with me using my favorite Aqua Velva Cool Blue. Go figure.
