Thread: Menthol Mondays

I got a little sample tube of that proraso. I don't know where I got it but I did try it and I liked it. I want to try some of GrimClippers find but they appear to be sold out.

How's this for a menthol Monday? Shower with Stirling lime , then Proraso pre post cream , Stirling Margiritas in the Arctic shave soap , then Kramperts Frostbite after shave, follow with a 5 shot Espresso and your ready for work!!!! Not sure what's in that Kramperts AS but it feels like you just put your face in a bucket of ice. Tc

Mine was the last bit of my Margaritas in the Arctic soap and then the post shave was some frankenlotion that contained aloe, witch hazel, and menthol and peppermint oils. Oh yeah.

Alright, I am fighting off the tears from Stirling's Glacial Wintergreen (think Icy Hot) and then followed that up with some Margaritas in the Arctic aftershave balm. I am not sure what is going faster, my tears or my nose. No matter because this was a great shave.

So how did you shake off the weekend and get ready for the work week?

My Menthol Monday consisted of a menthol preshave (Noxema) then onto a mentholated shave soap ( Stirling Soap Company Margaritas in the Arctic), then the finisher was some Aqua Velva Blue with Margaritas in the Arctic post shave balm.
I am ready as a can get for a snow flurry filled Monday.

I'm thinking the QCS Vostok - I have a big sample of Yeti Snot and if I try it again I am going got wear swim goggles...

My first Menthol Monday...
QCS Vostok, 1800, Wade & Butcher Celebrated Hollow Ground...and the Barbasol was left over from some other challenge...
Nice shave even with the stop at full lather to take a phone call from Germany (no rest for the wicked as they say) my eyes where watering by the time that was over...

Smooth Shaving...

This Glacial Wintergreen is slowly becoming one of my favorites. Using it this morning made the razor feel like a seal sliding down a snow covered slope. So smooth. Then followed up with the usual cast of characters, Aqua Velva Blue and Margaritas in the Arctic balm. What a fantastic shave this morning.

I hate to do a ditto thing but this is such a great combo. If I didn't so much other soap I could menthol at least four days a week. Shave on.
