Thanked: 2any place out there for cologne samples?
I got a sample of Truefitt when I got some stuff at the local barber supply store. Its ok, but not my cup of tea.
I'd like to get a few more samples of different flavors before I buy.
Is there anyplace out there that offers samples for free or really cheap?
I don't want to spend a lot on something I dont like.
Thanks in advance!!

Ask the folks at Maggards. I get samples of all their soaps before I buy a full size. If they dont ,they will know where to look. If you want Customer service the way it is supposed to be , give those folks a try. The colognes and aftershaves should be similiar. I trust them. Describe what you like and they know and love what they do. No they dont walk on water. but there close.

Thanked: 2I think part of the problem is I don't know what I like until I have it on. I've tried some things in the past that I liked at the store, got home and tried it a few days later and about half way through the day I wanted to find a hose...

I know that feeling. Clubman Lilac Vegetable. aftershave does NOT smell like lilac. Now if you are talking strictly colognes, I go to Ebay and search mens cologne. Then search lowest price first. I have found every brand, maker and current scent for under $5 for samples . like .05ml amount. You know the drill from there. Sometimes you get a bundle of 10 for the price. If the scent is a bust I donate it to SRP for the monthly giveaway ,that way I dont feel like I wasted my money and I tried it without buying a full size bottle.

The eBay method is great... I have done it many times. It's great for travel, I can throw a few samples in my carry-on and be good to go with a variety of scents for a few weeks. Also, the sample sizes easily fit in a pocket which is handy for a quick refresh while on the move.
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice

I use "The Perfumed Court" for samples. I've had great experience with them. I kind of know what i like so i'll read about something or smell something in a store and order the sample in a mini-atomizer to try out for a week before i buy.
Of course it can get out of hand and lately i've been trying to "3017" my old bottles and samples.-Dana

Luckyscent.com has a ton of samples. Also, as ultrasoundguy posted, Maggards has some samples of Fine aftershaves. Good stuff that Fines, IMHO.
