Default Art of Manliness Bay Rum recipe

The AoM Bay rum recipe (the second one) get's a "yeah whatever" from my wife (which is as close to approval as it gets) and big bright sparkly smile and two thumbs up from #1 daughter AND #2 daughter!

    Call it good!

    Well done!
That's the recipe from the late 1800s book, or something like that, right?
Did you dress it up by placing in a nice old fashioned bottle?

Okay, so last night I tried to gussy it up with other tropical malt scents. Now I have an after shave that smells like the Christmas potpourri in a French whorehouse.

I let the 5 year old use it to perfume the dog.

That's hilarious! Don't forget to show us photos of your bottled bay rum.

SO! "As a dog returns to his vomit" and all that....]

Made a second batch. THIS time, I added a bit of orange peel (from my own tree! Thank you very much!) and a capful of witch hazel.

To quote the frenchman from The Holy Grail "it's very nice...."
