Thread: Proraso Pre-shave Cream

Is the pre-shave cream suitable as an aftershave cream also? I bought my Dad the Proraso green shaving cream a couple of years ago. He liked it very much so I was thinking about getting him another Proraso green product. He does not use aftershave lotions so a balm or cream would be best. I remember mentions of pre/post Proraso creams in the past. Are they still dual purpose?

I use it for both pre/post shave and it works well every time. Proraso has also launched a "new" green balm in a similar bottle as the original aftershave. You may want to look at that as well.

Absolutely suitable! Sometimes if it is hot and stuffy I use the pre shave cream afterwards with and equal measure of cold water! Only thing to let him know is to use it sparingly, as it can end up coating on the face if used in excess (or use it with a measure of water to avoid that). There is the balm as mentioned...
The other thing to note is that they do all the colours in pre-shave! I haven't yet used the red or blue but am keen to here people's thoughts on these

I use White & Green, Pre-shave, Soap, Post-shave in my rotation and on occasion use both Pre shave for after shave. The White is great on my sensitive skin.
