    Default Summer scent

With the weather getting warmer, I'm looking for some additional ASs to go with the bay rum (Ogallala in various flavors) that is my go-to hot weather scent.
    Thoughts? Ideas? Help?

I like lime and coconut in summer. I use either Mike's Natural lime or Mike's Natural coconut soap and pair that with Pinaud Lime Sec aftershave. I know a lot of folks find the Lime Sec too sweet smelling, but I like it.

And bit on the pricier side, but I would recommend Armani pour Homme to you, given you are such a fan of Ogallala.
A good citrus fragrance with some awesome nutmeg and other spices. Good lasting power and it holds up very well in hot weather.
And I am referring to the latest reformulation, it's pretty good.

Bay rum is not my type of scent, but I find that these days I use mostly cologne fragrances, i.e. where the primary notes are citrus and are generally on the light and fresh side.
L'eau d'Orange Verte seems to be a current favorite. It's got a fair bit of complexity and I find it quite versatile - I wear it from flipflops to suit (business not special occasion). But then most decent colognes are probably very versatile in our western culture - citrus is proxy for fresh and clean and they tend to not be strong.

I also like santa maria novella as a house because most of their offerings smell very natural i.e. real florals/herbs and are typically on the lighter side. They're pricier than average, though, and you'd probably want to sample first.
I even wore their spanish leather last week - the sharp resin gives it enough high notes to work in hot weather for me.

Floris' or i Profumi di Firenze's sandalwoods work well in the summer for me too.

The last type I sometimes wear in the summer is what I could call 'rich summer' - cuba by czech&speake or SMN is what I've settled on in this category - tobacco, honey, sandalwood, rum, leather; both takes on the same theme are different but really good.

Alvarez Gomez concentrada or Lavanda are my favourites. Citrusy and more floral in that order.
