Default Help: Clubman Pinaud musk after shave lotion

I just got a bottle of this yesterday and I'm a little put off by the scent. I've smelled it before, in a shaving soap claiming to be "amber" and Avon pink bubble bath. I really don't like this smell, described by Avon as:
" delicately scented by soft pink flowers, rose, lilac, lavender and jasmine, plus a kiss of warm vanilla. Soft Pink's feminine fragrance is a classic favorite for every season."

I gave the soap to my daughter, she uses it with a safety on her legs.
Am I imagining this, does the scent improve when worn? Does that bubble bath smell persist?

Oh come on, you know that scent preferences are highly personal. I don't care for it either but lots of guys love it. It is said that we can get used to anything - except hanging - but why try when there are so many other choices?

You might try the Pinaud Citrus Musk. It's completely different with a nice citrus hit when first applied that settles down to a very subtle scent in a short while. Again.. whatever blows your skirt up.

Of course preferences are personal. I'm asking if anyone else makes the same connection to the Avon product I do and if so, does it improve when applied. Pretty simple question, and any observations would be appreciated.

Hart , I don't care for it at all same thing with their special reserve , makes me want to gag, now go figure the regular clubman I love it. Wife doesn't so I take it with me when I ride or when I worked, so at home I wear the good stuff,,but those two , life's to short to even try to get used to it. Tc

Exact words my wife used when she got a whiff of Floid Black. Said it smells like BO.

I love Floid and have several of their AS. It is a shame she will have to keep her distance when Black comes up in the rotation.

    Bought a bottle last Saturday.
By its self, I feel the same way. More of a perfume than cologne.
BUT! If you do a 50:50 mix of it and regular pinnaud clubman , its much better.
My cat loves reg. Clubman, and when i used the special reserve he litterally ran from me, wouldn't stay in the same room either

It might be better when decanted into a glass bottle
