Thanked: 56Lime aftershave or cologne that actually smells like lime?
My subject says it all, really. I'm looking for an aftershave splash or cologne that has lime as the dominant, or only, note. I got the Pinaud Lime and the initial aroma is lime, but that quickly fades to a less pleasant (to me) soapy scent that lingers all day. I like the lingering part, but want it to be lime. Any suggestions? I don't want to buy products willy nilly in search of one that works...that gets expensive and leaves me with a bunch of unusable products.

Meißner Tremonia, no questions asked. It is, however, a dark (or dried) lime scent, ie less citric than fresh limes, but also less sweet. The most interesting lime scent in the market in my opinion, and impeccable performance. The (yet to be officially released) aftershave balm is also extremely nice.
If you want to be on the safe side, get this, though: Extract of Limes | Collections | Penhaligon's. A bit upmarket, but it's Penhaligon's.

Ah, yes. I see. There was some sort of issue with importing alcohol to the US, wasn't there? Either way, that's a bit unfortunate, because the stuff is really, really good.

Thanked: 56Yes, no carriers will accept anything with alcohol. I have gotten liquor from Germany, recently, but I suspect they are a bit...crafty...when making a contents declaration. That's on them, however. I think it is a bit crazy. I do know someone who travels to Germany regularly for business; maybe I will ask him to pick some up next time he goes.
