Nectar of Happiness
Gentlemen,
The old time barbershop was the center of the universe. You could have a conversation on any subject. And the barber gave you the perfect straight razor shave. The mood was warm and the fragrance clean and refreshing. Pinaud's Clubman aftershave was the signature scent. It always has been in my humble shave den, for after all, it is the nectar of happiness.Last edited by Obie; 09-27-2015 at 10:04 PM.

The barbershop was the center of it all where I grew up. The old goats were there everyday solving the worlds problems.
They played cards and dominos on the tables at the back.
And, every kid thought they hung the moon because they were there with their Dad.
It was funny when they called you next and you had to crawl up into the big chair and act like grownup for the next 30min.It's a dog eat dog world and I have on milk bone underwear.

LOL...I was just going to type, "Hirlau will be weeping with joy when he see's this!"
After many months of not having a strong attraction to Pinaud, the last couple of months it is really growing on me, and surprisingly, my wife notices it every time and quite likes it...she finds it smells very Parisian in her opinion and quite likes it.
And I'm almost done my first bottle, this was the first SRP Forum aftershave I purchased after I started straight shaving....

Thanked: 4206The first one I picked up as well when I picked up the way of the straight blade.
And similarly, nearing the end of my first bottle. But I do use it more than just Friday's some weeks. Love the scent and the sting. Always made me feel Italiany more than Parisian but viva la differance'.

Can't help keeping a bottle , have for 45 years at least, even when old spice was the thing to wear, I was using Pinaud Clubman, it is nostalgic for so many of us brought up in those times at the barber shop with dad , not to mention as a young man just starting down the road shaving it was very inexpensive so you could have plenty to reapply as the evening went on, cause like John does, I kept it in my truck back then! Thanks again for the memories Obie. Tc
