I really liked it,, but then again I'm a fan of the sea. I found it to be tame on the issues of cannibalism that the men faced, once the ship was destroyed by the whale. This is good, as I feel the movie will be more appropriate for a younger audience. They will learn about whaling & the role it played in the world.

In one of the scenes where the guys are out on deck and it's a nice day and the whale is just down there watching them and in a good state of mind and then one of the sailors spills his lilac vegetal which hits the whale and well you guessed what happened next.
