Thanked: 55Applying thayers
Been using thayers witch hazel and aloe Vera since I started. Just read the instructions, apparently I've been using it wrong. I just splash some in my hand and onto my face. Instructions say to use a cotton swab or similar. Would this make a difference?

If you put it on a cotton ball or pad and wipe, it will remove more soap, oil, or whatever.
I've tried it with a cotton pad and didn't notice any difference over just splashing it on.
Maybe I used less product using the pad, but I enjoy splashing it on my face. Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead - Charles Bukowski

I just splash in then rub it in,, the instructions tend to deal with its medidixal use, it's great for minor skin issues and healing properties, and it makes for a great aftershave application, heals the skin from the scraping! Tc

I splash it on and it let it dry. AS is then applied.

I recently pick up a small vintage atomizer and filled it with Witch Hazel. I can then do a small squirt on each cheek and neck and then rub it in with my hands. Very, very little Witch Hazel is used and after it quickly dries I throw on some AS balm of choice.
