Fancy AS Bottles
I'm curious about what people use to put their aftershave in.
I saw a few older threads on the topic. The olive oil bottle and stopper seems like a good idea, but there weren't many other suggestions.
I have a few bottles of AS in plastic bottles and id like to keep them in something nicer, preferable made of glass. Ive seen some of the offerings on Ebay of old AS bottles. Some of those are nice too, but id like something a bit more plain. I dont need a glass duck staring me down every time i hit the head.
Just lookin for ideas i guess.. something i can throw the Old Spice, Pinaud and Brut in instead of the plastic containers they come in.
In the meantime im gonna use this one for Tabac.

I try to find a vintage glass bottle of the aftershave on Ebay or look for a nice condition vintage barber bottle,,, clean & use it.

Hobby Lobby (and others) sell plain glass "apothecary style" bottles in a variety of sizes and shapes with cork tops or screw tops for a few dollars.

There is a hobby lobby right down the street from me. Ill go check it out!
Ill keep checkin' the bay as well. I started thinking maybe i don't need one glass duck full of aftershave, i need a flock!!
If you want to catch a look mention to your significant other that you might start a bird themed vintage aftershave bottle collection.
I think she is starting to worry.

I got some nice bottles from a yard sale, colored is good and smallish in size so they don't fill up my shelves. They could be from recycled glass but I prefer to think they are antique poison bottles. Pretty, in any case. The clear one at the far right was a small 6oz port wine bottle, I bought a case just for the bottles to use for AS.
