Thread: Mysterious Alchemy of Beard Oil?

Take 1/2 bottle argan oil, 1/4 bottle of vitaman E oil, 1/4 bottle jojoba oil, 20 drops of sandalwood essential oil, 30 drop patchouli essential oil and mix vigorously together in the brown bottle.

Come back 20 minutes later and find...a translucent oil with a glob of 'what the hell is that' floating in it. Left over night...the glob settles to the bottom. It has no scent at all.

What the heck?

The little glob at the bottom is probably water or possibly your essential oils - which could explain why you have no scent. You may want to try adding a lighter oil into the mix like olive oil or grape seed oil to help the essential oils dissolve into the mix.
