    Also, where might I look for samples? I checked SRD, but it looked like they only have shaving soap samples; nothing for aftershave products.

    Nivea Sensitive balm or Thayer's Witch Hazel are a couple of aftershaves you might try if you have sensitive skin. If they don't agree with you both should be able to gift to a wife or girlfriend.

    I forgot about the Nivea. Excellent stuff and is not unscented, which tends to be the case for products for sensitive skin.

    Thanks again for all the input. Just for a follow up, I went with the Nivea sensitive balm, since that was what they had at Walgreen's and I didn't want to shave with no aftershave while something was being shipped. It feels good and seems to keep my skin calmer, though not perfect. It was mentioned that it's unscented; it definitely has a scent (maybe the natural smell of the ingredients?) which isn't bad, but also not the best.
