    Default Cologne samples?

Is there anyplace that offers colognes in sample sizes and prices? Since I don't live close to any shave stores, it's online only for me. I'd like to try a few, but hate to spend $50+ on something, then it not work for me. Since scents react different to different individuals (PH, etc), it's near impossible to go off others recommendations. I know this is NOT an inexpensive 'hobby', but having a couple hundred $ in something I'll never use seems...well, useless!

I'm wanting to try some sandalwood, rum and Windsor style colognes...not aftershave...cologne.

Maggard Razors has samples of colognes mixed in with their post shave samples. Specifically look at samples from Taylor of Old Bond Street and Geo F. Trumper.
You can also order some samples from individual companies. For instance, Penhaligon's sells a sampler set. I have purchased some cologne samples from Amazon.

What are Colognes for you ?
Are you talking about fragrances in general, whatever the concentration they come in ?
Fragrances with a low scent concentration ?
Or as in the style of fragrance originally from Köln, Germany ?

What is your budget? The prices are all round the places, going from cheap stuff like "4711", to more up-market (and frankly much better products) like Acqua di Parma ?

I guess I'm at a loss for every question you asked, except "What is your budget" To this: I don't have a problem spending $, but having a $50-75 bottle of something that, on MY skin, smells like a skunks arse...which will only end up in the back of the cabinet for eternity...seems foolish.

If you google "fragrance perfume decants samples" you will find quite a few companies that can deliver this. I have ordered from theperfumedcourt and luckyscent in the past.
I would say: look at some lists on the internet "best perfume's 2016", "classic male perfumes" or somesuch, read the descriptions, and order some samples from these.

Some classics: Azzaro Homme, Terre by Hermes, Green Irish Tweed or Aventus by Creed (but note: these are quite expensive), Blenheim Bouquet by Penhaligon, Aqua di Gio by Armani, Vetiver by Guerlain etc etc.

Seems a good place to start as they have many more commercial perfumes!

Yep...just checked these out. I don't think I'll be ordering any of this, anytime soon. Too rich for my blood.
