I've heard about this here and there...a couple idiots drinking rubbing alcohol, cologne or mouthwash. Had no idea it was so widespread over there though. Those stats are pretty shocking.

Kind of puts a whole new face on Bay Rum for me...I didn't realize it was that bad either.

Sadly I witnessed two of the staff at the neighbourhood discount store laying odds on a patron who was heading towards them with a query. I overheard one of the say aftershave and the other say lysol I'm not sure which of them won but money was exchanged and one was grinning while the other was shrugging.

That's what happens when the government kills the moonshining industry in a poor country.

This is a well-known fact, actually. Situation has been like this for a while too. I myself thought it's improving but I guess I was wrong...
