    Default Homemade lime aftershave

Tonight I made my own aftershave.

    3/4 cup reverse osmosis water
    1/4 cup witch hazel
    1/2 tsp vitamin e oil
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/2 tsp lime essential oil

The smell of this is just what I like. I wanted the smell of limes, not lime smelling musk but just plain old good smelling limes. It feels great on your skin and leaves it smooth and smelling good.

I love my homemade aftershave. I use about 1/4 aloë vera some eo's and vodka to make mine. It's the best smelling (and feeling) aftershave I've ever had. Olive oil sounds interesting though....why the olive oil?

Nice one. Only reason I use vodka (cheap kind) is that it already has distilled water added to it in the right ratio and has not real scent of it's own other than that of alcohol. (I don't drink btw).

Just means less mixing and searching ingredients.

Sounds good... I make my own too. I use:
    82% Witch Hazel
15% Masters Bay Rum with a few Cloves and a Cinnamon Stick for extra spice
    3% Pure Vegetable Glycerine

Really soothing and a nice Bay Rum that doesn't mess with my regular colognes. Not too strong and the glycerine is great on the skin.
