    Default Colleen's Aftershave

I just wanted to post this new thread because Colleen seems to be expanding her line of items to include her own aftershaves. If anyone else wanted to comment on it, please post what you think about her new stuff.

To start off, the first aftershave she sent me was clear colored, and according to Collen, no alcohol, just EO's of Menthol, Peppermint, Sandalwood, and Vanilla (I think). Wonderful stuff, but only a tad bit moisturizing.

The new stuff she sent me was unreal. A little thicker, with a milky off-white color. She only told me about one ingredient in it, but I assume it is relatively similiar to the other one, as it has a similiar scent. Wow, for about 5-10 seconds, my face was reeling from the "bite" of this stuff ! Although, in all honesty, I think I might have applied just a little too much by accident. The scent lingered for a while, the best part was absolutely no razor irritation to speak of, which I usually do get some as a general rule. Suffice it to say that this formula was better than the first sample she sent me.

I had quite a favorable experience with Colleen's AS as well. The only other aftershaves I have experienced are Aqua Velva Ice Balm and something from Gillette. Aqua Velva Ice Balm had been a lot more favorable than Gillette's AS. Colleen's beat both of them! Her's lasted longer and seemed to moisterize better. It didn't have as good of a cooling sensation as Aqua Velva though. But I suppose that's the tradeoff?

I have two samples of Colleen's A/S. The Menthol and the Bay/Lime. For me, the jury is still out on menthol in general. Its OK, but its not the end all be all it is for some. Colleen's Menthol is a tad mild for my tastes. I prefer a good punch in the head in the morning, but some might prefer a more toned down product.

I really like the Bay/Lime. Its got a good alcohol zing, but the oils also keep the face soft and supple like a balm. The scent is a nice straight lime. This is a great product.

    oh wow, that is awesome.
I have just been introduced to her wonderful soaps and am madly in love with them. The scents are outrageous and the lather divine. For the price, I know no better.
    Now AS too?
I have got to try some of this stuff.
