Thanked: 55Trumper's makes a nice extract of West Indian Limes cologne and aftershave. I would go for the cologne strength though as the aftershave is merely the cologne watered down. You can do this yourself if you like.
You can try the same trick with any of the other Lime scents out there. One I really like is the Taylors No 74 Victorian Limes. It's a nice lime scent that is long lasting on me.
One lime aftershave which I love but is gone in sixty seconds scent wise is Gabel's Drops of Lime. It's a straight lime scented aftershave that smells decent going on but is gone in a moment leaving you to apply whatever scent of the day you'd like. If you're interested in the Lime scent lingering a bit I would go for one of the suggestions above. Hope that helps.

Thanked: 0Commenting mainly on the above post. I like the trumpers lime but i find it leaves me smelling too much like a bowl of fruit. My personal preference is the Taylors no.74 Lime, good lime smells to begin with but soons dies down to leave a good long lasting gragrant smell that is woody and citrusy.
If you like citrus smells another good one is Taylors Eton College, thats got a nice scent, but doesnt last as long as a good cologne will however.
What i tend to do is after my evening shower and shave is to use some Eton college, its fresh smelling and light for evening use. By the morning the scent has all gone so after my wash etc i use some Talyors no.74 Lime to last me just about all day.

I like the Taylors 74 Lime as well. Dominica Bay Rum Lime is good, but the scent is fleeting. Same with Royall Lime. I just got some Floris Lime EDT, and that is the best pure limes I've ever tried, but again it doesn't last long on me - most citrus scents don't.

Have you looked at Em's stuff? Very nice lime products and her shaving cream is a breeze to lather.

Thanked: 1I am a bit suprised at how little the hydrolast line of wet shaving products gets mentioned, First let me say that regardless of what you think about the whole method shaving thing, the after shave balms or conditioners are possibly the best after shave products on the market and he makes a lime/ green tea, for that matter his hydrosols are also great products, you do not have to buy into the whole method shaving thing to benefit from his excellent products.

Thanked: 0I've tried the TOBS 74 Limes and the Royall Lyme, and both are good. I prefer the TOBS overall, as the Royall has a more candy-like scent, but both are good IMHO.
