Floid, Italian or Spanish
I've been lurking over at "Super Lather" and looking at the Floid After Shaves:
The Italian, Blue, is listed as "Strong" having more menthol($35.00/400ml)
The Italian, Red/Orange, is listed as "Regular" having less menthol($38.00/400ml)
Then there's the Spanish listed as "Strong" ($38.00/300ml)
* I notice that one can buy 4ml Decants (samples) for $2.00, but the payment is confusing to me. He says to not use a debit or credit card when paying PayPal and we are to use a different Email address through PayPal ([email protected]). It is kinda confusing to me. Regardless:
** Is any of you that are familiar with the differences in the different scents above? and, can you describe the differences? Basically, I'm wanting to know the difference between the Spanish and the Italian Floid.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve, I have the Italian regular and the Spanish. My general impressions are that the Italian regular is a little lighter and more "refined". It has some cooling effect and a nice anise finish. The Spanish has more of a cooling effect and less defined scent. I find the Italian to be a little more crisp and clear. I'm not great at describing this. I'll check them out when I shave tonight and add to this.
Follow up: These are both "old timey" scents. The Spanish has way more menthol and a somewhat more medicinal scent. And again, the Italian is lighter and a little more "sophisticated". That said, the differences between them are not that great and if you like one, I would think you'd like the other.
