Thread: Walgreens Superior 70 Bay Rum

Dear Bay Rum users,

First) An update here to the advice that one could get Superior 70 Bay Rum delivered to your nearest Walgreens store at no shipping charges to you. Yes and no. If you order it on line and hope to find prompts online (as I was told by my neighborhood store) to avail yourself of this shipping-cost-less transaction, don't believe it. I followed the process online and have suffered $5.50 in shipping costs because I believed that the to-store shipping option would show up on the next screen. NOPE - it didn't. My on the phone in-store helper gave me bum advice. You must go to your store personally and order it delivered to the store. This is per real person advice from the Walgreens customer service toll free number.

So, to get a deal on shipping-cost-less delivery to your favorite Walgreens, you must go to the store to place the order.

Second) The search function here blows goats. I tried to find bay rum - NOPE (bay, rum not found). I tried to find Superior Bay Rum -NOPE (Superior not found). I tried to find bay - NOPE (bay not found). Obviously I don't know how to use our search device here, but something like a search function should be as simple and transparent as possible because morons like me will try to find something like something they think they know the name of. Luckily I was able to go into a thread on Bay Rum in this section and ferret out a link provided by GSsixgun, but if I hadn't read that thread earlier and remembered a bit of what it was I saw, I would have been SOL.

I don't know if my rant lowered my blood pressure by a significant amount; regardless, I feel much better now. Thanks so much for the loan of the soapbox.

I talked to my WalGreens manager and I just have to get the SKU and they'll order a bottle...YEP! one bottle.

I just went to Walgreen's site and didn't see a SKU. Even after adding it to the CART i didn't see a sku..
ANYONE KNOW A SKU for this?

I never imajen that Suprior 70 is using as a/s.Im from Puerto Rico,i grew up with that,we call it "Alcolado Superior 70".My mom used to apply from head to toe when we have fiver to low the body temp.And yes Superior 70 is dirt cheap !!!!!

Paulo where he mentions he buys it locally at Walgreens in East Boston.

Perhaps he can enlighten us with the SKU#

I will have a look over the weekend if I can dig up a receipt when I last bought Superior 70 Bay Rum at the East Boston Walgreens store, see if there is a SKU number on the receipt. If no, next time I am at that Walgreens, I will get the SKU# and share it here.

Sorry you got taken for shipping, but it really is good stuff, even at the price you paid for it! I made some homemade lime aftershave when I started straight shaving in January, and more often than not, I finish my shave with the Superior 70 Bay Rum.

Sorry you got taken for shipping, but it really is good stuff, even at the price you paid for it! I made some homemade lime aftershave when I started straight shaving in January, and more often than not, I finish my shave with the Superior 70 Bay Rum.

From my just arrived Walgreens order, the product code (not SKU, as it is not provided) is 766415. If it is of help the Model # is 00008230100020. Both of these #'s are from the packing slip which notes the Product Description as SUPERIOR 70 ALCOHOL 350ML

From the sniff test, it seems to be a bit weak on the bay side. I'll try the splash test soon.

I know this thread is ancient, but I just went to Walgreens with the above Product Number and Model Number and they looked at me like I had two heads.

Last I looked my WALGREENS didn't have a clue about it, weren't ready to order one just for me.
The website had it. The shipping prevented me from buying it, tho it wasn't too high$

I've been looking for this when I visit high hispanic areas. Still haven't found it.
