The Three Colognes I jump between are Davidoff 'Echos' , Dunhill Desire , Bvlgari Extreme -- been wearing Davidoff Echos almost exclusively for about 6 yrs .. and only recently bought the two others to try ...
    Davidoff last anywhere between 8-12hrs
    Dunhill again .. 8-12hrs
    Bvlgari - about 6-8hrs

My G/f or myself has yet to find a female who doesn't absolutely love the smell of the Davidoff Echo's , so much so my g/f is almost sorry she chose it for me all those years ago ..

    fresh smelling ... Garry

D&G Pour Homme lasts a long time on me. So does C&E WI Limes (although the citrus scent fades fairly quickly). Neither costs too much.

SCS New Spice is a great option. I get a lot of compliments from women when I wear it. It's cheap and will last you quite a while.

I got some based on your recommendation. Smelled very different on than in the shop - but I like it, it is very different to my usual Spanish Leather ... I've yet to get the wifes opinion since she has a cold and couldn't smell rotten eggs in a barrel.

Here is what I have been able to learn: there are four types of scents which vary in their strength and do nto necessarily vary in the cost.

After Shaves - tend to have the weakest scent of all of the types and cost (I can get a good bottle for $8)
Colognes - stronger then after shaves and tend to cost the same, some popular brands are Helen of Troy's Brut (I can get one for $8)
Eau De Toilet - stronger than either of the above types and tend to last longer (My price tends to be aroound $50)
Eau De Parfum - Stronger than any of the above, but not made for men at all
Parfume Oil - This is the strongest stuff out there possible (I can get a bottle for $5)

I would recommend that you look for a Parfume oil there the cheapest and strongest, they tend to be at neighborhood parfume stores, I got mine at bath and body works.

I usually wear Pierre Cardin and find that it still smells after a long day at the office. Occasionally I will goto bed and still be able to smell it.

The longest lasting cologne scent I know is Joop. Just make sure you like it before you apply it!

Hehe glad you both like it. It's a lovely fragrance and for the price, it simply cannot be beaten. You could pay x3-5 the price and still not have a nicer EDT.

I knew the lady would love it
