Thread: When do you use the Alum block????

Isn't Alum Blocks traditionally "Potash Alum" and Crystal Deodorant "Ammonium Alum"?

If you want something more official, with a plastic case, Mama Bear has them on her site, or just google it. I knew I should have stuck with the Crystal Deo back in the day! Should have known it was going to come in handy for something else!

I use something called naturally fresh deodorant crystal. it says natural mineral salts / potassium alum and aloe Vera fragrance free and no harmful aluminums. Works great for me. comes in a roll on container.

Just a simple quick poll here...

I use it during the shave to keep my fingers tacky for stretching the skin, works great for that.
But otherwise I found I prefer that after the cold water rinse.
