    Default Aftershave?

Do any of the ladies here use an alcohol based after shave, or would you consider using one?
While playing with my home made Bay Rum aftershave, I added real rose petals...
The rose mellows out the bay rum, and gives it some nice floral tones, but I'm not sure if there would be any interest because it is alcohol based, and will probably still have that characteristic bay rum burn... (I haven't tried it yet)

I'm also looking at adding vanilla, or some other floral scents...

I'm extremely sensitive to the scent (and burn) of alcohol, so I wouldn't be able to use it. Floral scents are also on my "ick" list. But if you come up with something alcohol-free in a citrus scent, I'm totally there.

I would say go for the winter, as it's more like a lotion, and ask her to scent it in your favorite citrus

I actually just got my first order from Mama Bear last week, and it included a sample of her Mandarin Ice balm, which I like very much. I also got her peach-vanilla shaving soap... absolutely marvelous!

be careful her products are addictive
She can do custom scents also, I've been tempted to have her make me some aftershave balm in grapefruit...

My skin is really sensitive to alcohol as well. I usually try my best to avoid it because my skin tends to be dry. I'm glad to hear what works! Now I can save some $$$ for a new addiction!

Colleen makes a wonderful De Compaigne aftershave. Great citrus smell, no alcohol. My wife loves it.

Can't say I've ever though of using aftershave, I usually just throw some moisturiser on my legs and other places afterwards.
