Thanked: 52how to cure a coarse rough goatee
Hello
I keep a full goatee and mustache all the time...sometimes i let it grow longer sometimes i keep it short but i always have it.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a lotion or something that i can apply in the mornings or at night that will keep my hairs softer.
I have extremely coarse hair and this drives my wife crazy...and not in a good way.
I have tried using hair conditioner but would like other recommendations.

Just shave it off. That will fix the problem.

Well, the shorter it is, the pricklier it will be. Just let it get a little longer, and the hair will lose its structural support at the base, and become a little floppier/softer.
Other than that, you could try conditioner or something?

I know lots of guys that use the same shampoo and conditioner they use on their head on their facial hair. Just use the leftovers before you rinse off your hands. The shampoo will help clean your beard and face, and the conditioner will help soften you beard and moisturize your face.
