Thanks for the tip, ordered a sampler of 5 or 6 soaps (or creams, cant remember, was late ). It's "Black Cavendish" btw, a mild and sweet type of pipe tobacco. Very curious about it.

Mama Bear has a tobacco scented glycerin soap that will blow you away smell wise. It is like you just opened a fresh pouch and are packing. And it makes just about the best lather from anything in my modest collection of soaps.

    Default momma bear soap

I agree momma bears shaving soap may have the best lather for shaving I have tried. However,I find the tobacco scent down right sickening sweet to my nose. It is a single scent of what smells like vanilla/caramel/cotton candy. There is no earth or wood note to it. I actually added oak moss, clary sage and castorium (a fairly strong animal scent derived from the scent pouches of beavers).
unfortunately, they did nothing to cover the overwhelming sweet scent that is both overpowering and persistant at the same time.
I realize we have scent preferences, no disrespect ment to those that like it.
    Just my two cents.

I really love the Cavendish Black. It reminds me of my father ( he passed away 9 years ago) who smoked a pipe. Great scent....
