Is this one of the more or less strong smelling ones? (the one I have)

Your's the Capt Smith's is one of the stronger scented ones...

Here is a thread from way back that I did, and has been added to, and improved by many others... That if you are a "Bay Rum Fanatic" like some of us, you might really enjoy the read.....

Thanks! I enjoyed reading trough that one.
Looks like I was lucky. If Capt Smith's is one of the stronger scented ones, I think I will stick to it.
And I also like the "burn" in it. It doesn't sting like the gillette I used, it is more of a really hot feeling that lasts for a couple of minutes, it was a good feeling after shaving, made me feel refreshed.

If you like the Royall but always found that it was over priced. Somebody in this forum, it may have been Ray G., pointed this one out. I bought it and I am VERY! happy.
    Royall Lyme Fragrances 4 -8oz for $68 - eBay (item 130280015242 end time Jan-14-09 07:06:07 PST)

In addition to the Bay rum, I got Spice, Mandarin and Vetiver. I love all of them but the Mandarin, like any other ****tail, should be used in moderation.

I have the Capt. Smith's and love the smell, but wish the scent wouldn't disapate so much or so quickly.

If you find one that lasts and doesn't leave you smelling like cinnamon and clove, please let me know! I haven't come across a good, long lasting BR.

I have used several brands with the same results, no lasting effect. Because I like Bay rum so much I took a bottle to my office and refreshed the scent several times a day. I know this is not ideal but it works.
