    Thumbs up Shave Balm favorite

I found a great shave balm from Portugal called MUSGO REAL. Just put the name in a search engine. Several websites sell it. Also NIVEA BALM which is sold in grocery stores. Both balms have a pleasant smell and both are reasonably priced. I like 'em and use 'em everyday........ Jerry

i haven't tried MR products, but I used nivea for few years a while back and I like it,
these days my tastes in fragrance are a bit different.
my favorite aftershave balm is probably alt innsbruck. but i also use pre de provence, penhaligon's douro, i think these three are the balms, not sure if the coral skin food falls into that category.

I've used Nivea- not bad. Current favorite is C&E Sienna. Maybe just 'cuz the girlfriend can't get enough of it.

I usually shave in the evening and found out that Nivea smells like... well Nivea...and I really hate it when my pillow smells like Nivea...

Then I found Sanex aftershave balm that doesnt smell like anything and contains alum.. I realy love that stuff... after a good shave I get a tingling feeling on my skin and my pillow just smells like me...

That's the problem with Nivea, they can't make anything that doesn't smell exactly like Nivea... But that said the Nivea replenishing balm isn't bad, has a very subtle fragrance and does do it's job. But it's also an alcohol based balm, so it does sting just like alcohol splash, which may be a problem for some people...
