Default Yardley's Original cologne and aftershave

I tried these recently and the scent is pretty nice classic and old-timey.
    Lavender, bergamot and musk.
For the fans of barbershop scents I think you should try this if you get a chance.
I like what the aftershave does to my face as well. I think it's got witch hazel and glycerine in it, but I have to look up the label again if anybody wants the details.

That looks like just the kind of A/S that I'd be interested in. I'd be interested in the ingredients list, and the vendor you used. Thanks!

Hi Gugi, again, great minds think alike;-) My grandfather used Yardley's Lavender EDT until Atkinson's took its place. I have not been able to find the Atkinsonsr but I found the Yardley. Both the Lavender and Sandalwood are killers. Where did you find the after shave?

How long does the Yardley remain after putting it on? I don't like long lasting scents..

The lavender in my experience it is not long lasting. The Atkinsons is way stronger. The Yardley has a more mellow crispier impression to it.

Sorry guys, I didn't notice the replies yesterday.
I picked it on ebay and it wasn't very expensive at all, well it's not AquaVelva, we're talking the British perfumer with most royal warrants (three to be exact) after all, but they are 120ml each and together with shipping were definitely under $50, I think probably closer to $40. I'll snap a picture tomorrow, the ingredients are:

Cologne: SD Alcohol 39C, Water, Fragrance, D&C Yellow No. 1, D&C Red No. 21
    seems straight forward

After Shave Lotion: SD Alcohol 40, Water, Glycerin, Fragrance, PEG-6-32, Allantooin, D&C Yellow No.1

It all started with the soap - I heard good stuff about it and picked an old bowl, again on the bay. I very much liked the rose note in it, unfortunately nowhere to be found in this cologne/aftershave, but I'm quite happy with this blend too.
I think these old colognes and aftershaves can be found rather cheap and especially if they're in a box the scents are unlikely to have changed.

As I promised here's a picture. SRD apparently has the sandalwood and I think I'll be trying it next time I get the itch for a new cologne.
