Thanked: 12Mama Bear's after shave opinions
Just wondering if anyone has tried Mama Bear's winter aftershave. I have dry skin and would like to have the aftershave scented the same as the soap I am using. Opinions?

Hmm, no replies yet...
I haven't used Sue's aftershaves, but I don't see a reason not to try them. She's a nice person to talk to, so you can ask her about the ingredients, how does she think it'll work with your skin type, etc.
I'm sure that she designs the aftershaves with the primarily goal to be helping the skin.
In any case since we're all different, there's always only one way to find out if something works for you - give it a try.

I have three Summer After Shave Milk but haven't tried the Winter blend. I really like the formula and you can have pretty much any of the flavors she has in her soaps. Also you can add Menthol which I like to do.

I tried the menthol one about a year ago in a sample. I'm not really a balm guy, but I found it to be a very solid product. I have nothing bad to say about it. I'm sure she would be happy sell you some small samples to try.

I have Mama Bear's Winter Aftershave. I ordered it with Bay Rum scent added. I think you can order it with what ever Mama Bear "flavor" you want added to it.
It definitely has witch hazel in it. I could really feel the astringent characteristics, but after that wears off it is a good protectant against cold dry winter air. I like it.
If I were to do it again I would get the unscented version for more versatility and let the cologne of choice do the scent work. I don't always want to smell like Bay Rum during the work week.

Thanked: 1I have tried 3 different including the one without scent. They all works very well. Scents are of course individual but the balm works OK on my type of dry skin. Exellent service by the way
