Thread: Crabtree & Evelyn

I just picked up their west indian lime cologne and I love it. Great scent. I also have Uncharted by them and think it is great also.

Sound's like you made a good choice. I use there Nomad shave cream & love it. Crabtree & Evelyn offer good products.

I really like the Nomad soap and I got a whiff of the Nomad aftershave balm, but it didn't smell anything like the soap. It had a great scent, just not the same.

The lime smells great. I was very tempted to pick some up yesterday when I went in for a brush. The wife was already giving me enough of a hard time about using shaving soap, a brush, and a straight. I'll have to see if i can work in some new scents.

+1 on the Nomad shaving cream. It smells like a complex mix of cedar, sandalwood, citrus + something else wonderful. No matter what I put on my face after shaving, I still catch some of the notes of the shaving cream for hours into the day, which I really like.

I not fond of the C&E lime but fragrances are very personal and also often their smell changes from person to person. I do like the Royall Lime and also the Mandarin..., it is like squeezing them on your skin ;-), really but can be overpowering for some people.

Let just say I am not sure I like lime aftershaves just as this one is the only one I have tried. What sealed the deal was my wife (who is very sensitive to scents) smelled it in the store and said you should get that it smells great. I ran to the counter to pay for it before she changed her mind... But for me it is a winner, she has commented on it everytime I wear it, and after all you wear a scent for the person you are with..
