    Default DIY Shave Soap

I would like to try to make my own shave soap or cream. Anyone have any good recipes or know of any good books?

lemme know if you have questions. I will be starting a few batches of cold-process soap once my ingredients arrive in a week or two.

    Default Google

I just read the post that you linked. It got me thinking about making myown pre shave, aftershave and soap. I googled all of the above and found a lot of recipes. A lot of the recipes call for things like olive oil or caster oil. Is this stuff ok to put on your skin, won't it clog up the pores?

depends on the pores, really. also, when you make soap the oils and fats are saponified by the lye or whatever you use for the trace.
