Thread: Clubman?

Interested in this only because . . . thats all really. Bay Rum for some reason although I have never tried it. Silly eh?

Anyone know if the big U.S. drugstore chains (Target, CVS, etc.) carry this to save me driving all over? (My first razor set in twenty years is coming Monday from Vintage and I am wicked stoked to be fully ready! I won't shave until it arrives - wife will be happy too ).

Or, am I wasting my time on this product?

Depending on where you live, Walgreens usually stocks Pinuad Bay Rum and Lilac Vegital (sp). Also, if you have a beauty/barber supply store that might be a good avenue as well. CVS usually has original Clubman and talc.

As far as likeing, that's a personal choice. I prefer Ogalla(sp) to Clubman but the Club ain't bad. I'm sure alot of guys will add in here as many are big BR fans and have a wide selection.

Also, Royal Bay Rum can usually be obtained at Brooks Brothers if you have one near you.

The product you are refering to is Ogallala, this is an incorrect translitteration of Oglala (one branch of the Lakota).

I like the Pinaud line of after shaves, Bay Rum, Clubman and Lilac Vegital. However my wife is scent sensative and the only one she likes is Crabtree & Evelyn West Indian Lime. I had to hide the bottle I was afraid she was going to use it. I also like their "Uncharted". These however are a tab more expensive than Pinaud...

You should be able to find Pinaud Clubman just about anywhere. I'm a huge fan of the regular Clubman and Bay Rum. I used the classic Clubman today, actually

If you're not sure whether your local Walgreen's carries it or not, visit the website and check for availability. They'll give a break-down of what stores in your area carries what.

I thought that I was going to have to order my Bay Rum online again, but checked the website and turns out the store that I never visit on the other side of town carries the 12oz
