Thanked: 52Aftershave of the Day
Hello Gents.
I love to use aftershave and use it every morning even if I dont shave...
It gives me a nice pick me up in the morning and wakes me up.
I thought I would share my scent of the day for a while at least ... Now I dont use any expensive AS...just the usual supermarket brands but thought I would share for those who dont know if they want to try ones from supermarkets...
Today...
Old Spice Classic AS Splash - Reminds me of my Dad ... thats what he used to use. I am only 25 so I know that others say the formula has changed but I still love it. Nice spicey subdued scent. Makes the face feel pretty good. A little dry but not too bad.

Thanked: 171If you're looking for a cheap but ridiculously awesome aftershave, check out The Shave Den's aftershave milks. You can get the sample sizes for cheap and try a few different scents. They have a ton to choose from and they work fantastic and last and last - a little goes a long way. You can get them with or without menthol and they are good both ways, it's just up to your preference. They don't burn at all going on which is a nice. They are not quite lotion, but not quite splash, literally a milky feel.
I've also tried samples of their splashes, which are the same scents only in splash form. I like these as well, but I'm more of a milk kind of guy I guess.

I have a few of Joanne's shave milks, hers were some of the first I tried when I joined TSD.

Cap't Smith's Spiced Bay Rum by Body Crystal
Ok so this is not a Supermarket special but it is still not an expensive english AS. I got this one from classic shaving.
I love this bay rum. Really spicey and rummy. Makes me feel like a pirate. Feels good on my skin, especially on non shave days. On shave days its a good stinger if you have any razor burn.
A pat on the neck and cheeks mid day with a damp hand releases some more scent which i like.
This bay rum will always be on hand for me.

Thanked: 171Ah... I see where this thread is going.. lol.
05/13/09 - TSD Sandalwood AS milk. It's not a true sandalwood, not even close, but it's nice. Kind of sweet and sort of powdery, almost a soapy scent. I quite like it at any rate. As with all of TSD's milks, IMO, it leaves the skin super soft and not tacky/sticky at all.

Adidas Sport Fever
Really nice feel to this. Lightly citrus orangey scent. Feels great...there is a little skin conditioner in this one. Found at the local Walgreens in a 2.5 ounce bottle for like 3 bucks...i really like it and it is SWMBO approved.

TSD Mayan Gold Aftershave Milk. Again, I love the product. I don't have any other experience with mayan gold and quite frankly I can't describe it as my nose isn't as developed as the pros. They say it's an asian scent, and I agree with that. The description from TSD is "Luxurious, very sexy masculine scent. A mix of exotic woods, fruits and spices including patchouli, sandalwood, clary sage, mandarin orange and grapefruit touched with vanilla, chocolate and musk" I guess that's about right, lol. Anyway, I like it. It really develops throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
You guys are going to get sick of hearing about all of my TSD aftershave milks, lol. I do occasionally mix it up though.

Thanked: 52I love my TSD AS Milk too. I only have one its unscented but I still love it. I dont need a moisturizer every day so that is why I use mostly Alcohol splashes each day...maybe a dab of the milk on my nose and that is it.
