Thread: Pinaud Clubman in Toronto

Long story short, I walked into Pat's Barber Shop for a haircut... Turns out they had Pinaud Clubman both the aftershave and the powder. I couldn't buy it locally, but always wanted to give it a shot. Costs $15 (tax in). Just wanted to give you guys the heads up before goin' upstairs for a shave.
The place is located at 366A Royal York Rd. in Etobicoke. If you're heading south, a couple of blocks south of Evans, there's this Italian bakery called San Remo's or something like that (great veal parmigiana sandwiches), hook a right and the barber shop is along the side of the building across the little side street from the bakery. I had to ask George (the barber, in his mid-40's, relatively young for the kinda shop that it is) to order it in (arrives the next day), so you may want to call ahead 416-251-6988.
I'll post a review in the daily shave as soon as I strop up the Chandler and the Genco.

No worries. It isn't exactly your neck of the woods, but you can get there from Gardiner(QEW)/427 in under 5min if you know what you're doing and aren't a stickler for the Highway Traffic Act

Thanks Goshawk.. I knew about TBBS but in all honesty I don't even know where exactly they are (even though I'm sure they posted it on their site. I got supplies coming out of my behind and had I not been curious about it for a while and had I not seen it at Pat's, I wouldn't have been making any purchases.. Still trying to run through a bunch of random soaps and creams to get to my last cake of Leatherneck so I can justify another order from Colleen lol Now if we had a local source for DBR......

I hear you. I sometimes look in my top drawer and wonder how things got so out of hand. TBBS is at the corner of Bay and Dundas, next to the bus terminal and a seriously old school (and expensive) barber shop. Certailnly worth a visit.

This stuff is awesome! I found it at Rite Aid on the bottom shelf in the Shaving section. I liked the vintage look to it, so I decided to give it a shot. This stuff really makes your face feel great and it has a relaxing, reminiscent scent to it of my childhood barber shop, and my grandfathers products. A++++++++++!!!
