Thanked: 1Great combo - SOAP, AS, COLOGNE!!
Ok gents,
After much experimenting, I have found the right combo and hope it works for you too!
I shave with Col. Conk's Bay Rum or Almond soap. I finish off with Nivea Aftershave Balm.
Amazon.com: Nivea for Men Sensitive After Shave Extra Soothing Balm, 3.3 Fluid Ounces: Health & Personal Care
Next I take some unscented, oil free lotion and dab a few drops of Sandalwood perfume oil.
Woody Sandalwood Perfume Oil: - The Body Shop
I moisturize my entire upper torso and spread the sandalwood scent.
For the final touch, I finish off with a few sprays of the best cologne I have ever smelled -
Spanish Fig & Nut Cologne.
Spanish Fig & Nutmeg Cologne - Bath House - Grooming - MEN - Buy Online | pod
It smells unbelievable and since sandalwood is one of the bases it compliments the sandalwood perfume oil/lotion combo perfectly!
Try it and you will be pleased.

heh I use Col. conk Soap + Nivea aftershave as well. I find it works good... but I wish the nivea smelt better. But I find that the Nivea Afterhsave works well. I'm still searching for a great smelling aftershave!
Cheers,

The Nivea seems to work with just about any soap. Great product, especially for the price. I just don't get Bay Rum either but the Cologne does indeed sound interesting.

I also like the Nivea AS Balm. Personally, I don't like to smell like any scent. To me, the strength is just right when someone has to be in your personal space (up close and personal, ya dig?) to be able to smell what you're wearing.
