Thread: Castle Forbes sampler

I didn't even think to ask about other samplers. Good thinkin singlewedge, let me know what you find out.

I e-mailed for a sampler a while back but never got it, though they responded and said they'd get it right out to me.. tried again recently and no reply

Just got my free sampler today,so they're still doin' it.It's a little downsized from what Logistics got a while back.I e-mailed for the Castle Forbes sampler and got:
1 pre-shave
3 shave creams
3 after-shave balms

Can't complain for free and they smell great.Only took 6 days from the day I sent e-mail.Wonder if you get more samples if you call instead of e-mail.

Yea, the reason why some of you are getting an incomplete sample of Castle Forbes or anything else that offers cologne is Colonial Drug told me a shipment of vials for the samples was broken. Colonial told me the scrapped the entire lot for safety purposes (avoiding any broken glass getting in vials and to the customer).

Colonial does have other samples to offer. I have received some samples of Plisson recently.

From what I understand they send out mainly samples of creams versus soaps. As I mentioned before the colognes are delayed because of the broken vials.

As I have mentioned in the previous posts, if you BUY anything simply tell them you are a member of SRP and they will give you free shipping. This is not to be confused with the samples as those are sent free anyway. Other countries the shipping may differ.

I got mine yesterday. Same deal, one preshave balm plus three aftershave balms and three shave creams. I don't know how many different stinks they send out but I recieved lime, violet and cedar/sandalwood. The cedar sandalwood combo reminds me of a hamster cage, so I'm not too sure of that one yet. We'll see if the smell lightens up when I shave later today.

If mine is as big as I think it is going to be I think that I may have found my place for getting my soaps and creams. Colleen will still get my business, but I will still order from these guys.
