Thread: Aftershaves

Just wondering

All of the above, lol. I don't have the space to store many bottles so I pretty much have an everyday standard and a bottle I'm "trying out". Depending on what I'm doing & how I feel I choose which one I use. Naturally, the everyday standard pleases my wife...

i tend to have one for everyday use and one for special occasions. i usually change when they run out (after a year or so) and try something different. as for the poll, it's kind of all of the above i suppose!

Never touch the stuff, I think its a silly expense, and I'm usually allergic to them anyway. A good cream is all I need.

I just had my first straight shave without after shave. I simply forgot. NEVER used it before.
I've used Thayer's Original witchhazel with aloe gel since July. It's 10% alcohol for sterility reasons. Nice finish normally. I was standing on the street watching the Labour Day parade before I noticed a slight dryness to my skin that hadn't been there before. Didn't suffer at all though. I noticed the difference, but it was much more intense after my very first straight shave with the aftershave. I could easily live without it, but I still prefer it better WITH.
