    Default Thayers v. Humphreys

The local hippie mart is now selling Humphrey's witch hazel in three alcohol free scents and regular along with Thayers.

I have Thayers lavender and now I have a small bottle of citrus Humphreys. I like the Thayers better due to the smell and the longevity of the smell. The Humphreys smells better in the bottle but once on your skin, it sorta turns into another smell that I have never come across before. It is sorta reminiscent of vanilla, but slightly more medicinal. There is no smell of citrus on the skin, but it does soften the skin better than Thayers.

I think that it is a toss up between the two. I am going to have to evaluate them further to really decide which one I like better.

What say you, have you tried these?

I have not tried Humphreys but I do have 3 bottles of Thayers.

I have Aloe, Medicated and Lemon. I mainly use the Aloe however, I use the medicated for when I have a small nick. It happens. The lemon my lady uses the most.

Interestingly enough, my lady loves Thayers for removing her makeup versus the alcohol stuff or whatever department stores offer. She swears up and down the Thayers feels better and she doesn't have to apply moisturizer after using the department store makeup remover.

I do agree the scent lasts. I avoid using it on my mustache since I don't want to smell it all day.
