    Default Italian Floid.... From Italia!

Well... some of you know I just got back from Italy the other day and I did find my way into an apothecary in Rome. I looked for P160 and couldn't find any but I was happy to find a "big" bottle of blue Floid, which I jumped on quickly.

The stuff is great. It has a classic smell and what feels like menthol in there with the alcohol, which I love. It leaves the skin feeling supple and smooth and the cooling effect of the menthol is really pleasant.

I've been looking online for the stuff for a while but everybody seems to be sold out. The sun shines on a dogs ass every once in a while!

A friend of mine recently went to Rome, and she brought me back two large bottles of Floid, one of the classic and one of the blue. I love the classic. Unfortunately, my wife didn't like the Blue so I sold it. It went in like 3 minutes.

It's my favourite aftershave and one that my wife and I agree on. Just such a shame that it's one of the hardest to get in North America.

    Default Italian Floid

    Gentlemen,

I have the Spanish Floid. It has a sweet fragrance that always reminds me of candy. I will finish my bottle and that will be it with Floid for me.

I wonder how much of a difference exists between the Spanish and Italian Floids.

    Regards,

    Obie

The Italian doesn't smell anything like you're describing. I can only say to give it a shot. It's a clean smell, not sweet.

    Default Italian Floid

    My dear Oglethorpe,

Thank you for explaining the different in Spanish and Italian Floids. That's most informative. I will have to give the Italian a try in the future.

    Regards,

    Obie

Hi guys, This thread could not have come at a more perfect time. My Mom is off to Italia on Saturday and looks like I'll be trying some Floid soon. I use Proraso; are there any other products I should be trying from Italia? Thanks!

For what it's worth, the "BIG" bottle of blue floid (approx 24 oz) ran 24 euro. They also had the Spanish (red) Floid, but I figured when in Rome...
