Default What to do..what to do?

Ok I am a person who has difficulties deciding. I'm planning to start using 444 after shave balm (444 Aftershave Balm - €3.95 : The Vintage Scent Co., Rare and Antique Products for Men) instead of Nivea a/s balm. And the way to use it according to most people is to mix the 444 a/s balm with aftershave splash/lotion. So the question I have is what to use.

    I have these options:
    1. Acqua di parma - Colonia assoluta (this is not really an aftershave but eau de cologne) I love the scent
    2. Acqua di parma - Collezione Barbiera (this is an a/s lotion which is ideal but I do not like the scent as much)

So what do you think about this? Can Eau de Cologne be used on the face?

Please note that I do not shave very often, 1 time per week aprox. 2 times max.

I have 444 balm in my rotation but I'm not mixing it in any way. Just using straight from the tube. Mostly I use it in wintertime as it is a little more heavy than regular balms.
Sure, you can use gologne as an aftershave. Main difference is how long the scent lasts (comparing to basic aftershave splashes).
I have an Alt-Innsbruck which is usually advertised as an aftershave but actually it is a gologne. I like the scent very much but use it only rarely due to lingering. It works as well as other aftershaves.
I don't have or use any ADP products but suggest you to try first if you like the scent more.

I don't use balms, just witch hazel followed by aftershave.

Are you sure you want to put something containing menthol on your face?

    Splash is not a noun.

Hey there, Kurd dude! (or is it Kurdish?)

444 Balm is an excellent source of instant menthol! Unlike TonyJ, I find it works best as an additive to something alcohol-based. By itself, it's too gooey and leaves my face sticky.

I usually like three things in my aftershave: alcohol, moisturizer and menthol. Consider the 444 like the moisturizer and menthol portions.

None of my colognes have quite enough alcohol in them to provide the necessary dilution of 444, so in your case I would suggest:
    1. A small glop of 444 in your hand, combined with
    2. One schpritz of ADP Assoluta, and
    3. A little bit of witch hazel to round out the liquid/alcohol portion.

Then splash that splash away! (using splash as a verb AND a noun).

After that, I usually wash the menthol off of my hands, put a second schpritz of cologne in my hand, a few drops of water to dilute it, then apply to arms, neck, hair, wherever. That way I can spread the scent over a greater area without leaving a dense cloud of smelly over myself.

    Good luck, friend!
