pump bottles
Has anyone had experience with pump bottles? I was wondering if
there is a loss of liquid through evaporation. I keep clycerin and witch hazel ok but I went thru my expensive Floid so fast it must have evaporated. Any advice out there?

I use pump bottles for a variety of uses and believe them to be economical, in that you don't waste any of the product, and I've never had a problem with evaporation.

*grumble grumble* Now I'm gonna have to go pick up some pump bottles...such a great idea!

Check the ingedients in Floid. If there's Alcohol, it's gonna evap fast, Witch Hazel and Glycerin, I believe your OK. I'm sure other ingredients do to, not many that are in that though....Good Luck

Yes, that is a Conair lather heater. I very rarely use it. Maybe if it is
very cold I do. My biggest complaint is when you heat lather cans the lather gets watery. I pretty much stick to brush and mug.

I was wondering why you don't use spray bottles for all your after shaves or colognes. I do and it keeps them forever.
A dispenser pump is designed for products with a thicker consistency like creams or glycerin.
A spray bottle is completely sealed and I presume the dispenser pump you own must still have some kind of opening that makes the alcohol evaporate.Last edited by Maximilian; 11-20-2009 at 01:45 AM.

After reading this thread yesterday, I had an idea pop in my head, so I did some searching.
Oh boy, here we go again...*AD incoming.
I'm a little hesitant posting about this, but what the heck...might as well share with others right?
How about a few atomizers for your shave den?
