Thread: clubmen bay rum

Haha... got some Clubman Bay Rum a while ago and the bottle broke at the cap, in shipment. When it got here the smell was very intoxicating... kinda ruined it for me: now every time I smell that bay rum, I really wanna puke. I think it's lacking subtlety, a lot. No offense but it reminds me of the dollar store cologne I'd wear in elementary school, I think it was called Florida water cologne... Cheap is an understatement. Actually, I think i'm gonna toss it. Anybody wants a free bottle?

Ems Bay Rum ASB has a fantastic scent. It is a first class product too.

i have just about all the clubman/pinaud fragrances. i like all except the lilac vegital and i have yet to figure out what the heck that is supposed to be. the citrus and lime are fair. the newer musk and vanilla are great. the special reserve and the bay rum are very similar. the classic is somewhat like the vanilla. i guess it up to your own preference. i think they remind me of an old barber shop my grandfather took me to when i was 4 or 5 years old..very nostalgic.
