Thanked: 1Where to get Musgo Real Aftershave gel?
I used this stuff a bit a few years ago, found an old tube and tried it again. Now i'm trying to find a source for it--it doesn't seem to exist anymore. It comes in a small tube. Anybody have any info?

Thanked: 55The gel was discontinued a few years ago when they reformulated their classic aftershave. As far as I know it is completely gone from the market.

Thanked: 55Well, from what I can remember at the time when it was around we discussed it a few times as some guys liked it. I think someone said that it was close to being pure glycerin with just the Musgo Real fragrance added. I think there must have been a little something more in there as it was thicker than plain glycerin. But at the very least you could try adding a lot of glycerin to the aftershave (there seems to be a lot of it in there already) and perhaps mimic the old product. Glycerin is pretty cheap at the local drug store. Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
EL

Thanked: 1yeah, the balm's not the same. the glycerin in the gel really did well to soften and moisturize. maybe i'll try to get some straight glycerin and mix it with something, unless someone knows of a similar product.

Thanked: 0They do have the aftershave Gel at my local bath store, I can stop by and check the price, and if you would like I can pick one up and send it out. I have done that with the Almond oil for other members on TSD..as it is another product that seems to have been discontinued. Fortunately for me all these shaving products are in the back of a more womanly bath shop and I seem to be the only wet shaver in the area that knows of it..haha im gonna have to guard it!
