    Default Art of Shaving

I got a $10 off certificate from TAOS for some class-action suit they settled. I went in today to buy an after-shave balm, and it was $38! Did they raise prices, or was it always so expensive, and I'm mis-remembering? : )

Yeah, it had something to do with improper collection of personal information like phone, address, etc. I imagine I'm in a database somewhere with my name and address that they handed over to the lawyers.

I think it's always been that high, however just for this year.....I can't accurately comment on past years because I just started with straights this year I bought a bottle of Lemon aftershave balm and it was $38 back in April when I got hit with a terrible case of acquisition disorder. It's GREAT stuff, and thankfully I don't need a lot.....the bottle I have has about 4/5ths left. Granted with my busy schedule I don't shave as often as I like (2-3 times/week), but a little dab will do ya'. To me it smells like candy. YMMV.

I'm currently trying to concoct my own aftershave. The only problem with this is even if I buy the smallest quantity of ingredients for the recipe I'll be left with a 10 year supply!

hilarious CableDawg; reminds me of trying to cook at home for 1 as a Manhattanite. At the minimum purchases for even the most basic of stuff, you're much better off financially to just order some take-out.

Is the minimum ingredient list more costly than a few bottles of premium store-bought aftershave, though?

I've done a little surfing and found a LOT of good stuff......but it does certainly look cheaper at this point. That includes finding the high quality stuff. The bigger advantage is putting the ingredients in that I personally would prefer. I'll share the recipe some day.....if it's a success!
