    Default Old Spice

    Hey all,
I've just found some Old Spice AS for sale on a local webauction for $38NZ (about 27USD). Two questions - is it any good, and is it worth the price? I have some Old Spice soap so am very tempted to buy it if it's any good, just to get a set going. Any thoughts would be much appreciated (and if you're interested, he has 4 bottles currently listed, so I can maybe work something out for you to get a bottle).

most things on amazon won't ship to nz, only really books, dvds and cds, unfortunately, so this is the only way I can get my hands on some, I think.

US$27 for aftershave, maybe for 3-4 liters, but not for a few hundred milliliters.

Old School is right.I love the vintage stuff, but at $75.00 I,ll pass.It seems they are all going to the plastic bottle and making the old shcool stuff weak.Something to do with using plastic and not glass.

If it's not vintage, then no, it's not worth that much money. If it is vintage, it's worth the money being asked, if it is a scent you like.
Last couple of times I saw Old Spice on the bay, it was selling at USD75+. It most certainly is not worth that much money IMO.

The only way I'd pay $27 for Old Spice is if it was the vintage stuff and in a BIG bottle. You can usually snag the vintage stuff on there for under $20, though. $75? I wouldn't pay that much for ANY aftershave.

mosley, does New Zealand have the equivalent of a "dollar store" there? I don't know if Vi-Jon distributes internationally or not, but here, the dollar store (namely Family Dollar and some drugstores like CVS) carry a knock-off called "Ivy Club Spice". Supposedly, it smells just like the vintage stuff.

It appears to be the original stuff in a glass bottle (188ml), assuming that easiest difference between the two to spot is the packaging. Is the AS any good however, disregarding scent?

$27 dollars for a bottle of Old Spice is highway robbery...maybe if it was Gold Spice I would shell out the dough.

I paid Mama Bear a lot less to make me an Aged Spice AS that smells like the original Old Spice. Hereby highly recommended.
