    Default LF Lavender Aftershave.

Hey fellas. I have tried AOS Lavender aftershave and it is too greasy for me. I have oily skin and I need an aftershave that doesn't leave me greasy at all. I have GFT Coral skin food and I love it. I don't like the smell so much, I have gotten used to the scent but I loved the smell of the AOS lavender. Does anyone know of a good smelling lavender aftershave that won't leave my skin feeling greasy???

    thanks

    Default LF Lavender Aftershave

    Hello, Ramusico:

You might was to try Agua Lavanda Puig. This is quite a refreshing cologne from Spain. Apparently it was one of Frank Sinatra's favorites.

Caswell-Massey has a lavender cologne. It's a hearty one, but all you need is just a little of it.

Woods of Windsor, while not a lavender aftershave or cologne, has some in it, plus bergamot and a few other goodies. It's an absolute delight.

    Regards,

    Obie

Ohh, Obie. Just as I think my bathroom cabinet has enough in it, you have to go and post that. 'Agua Lavanda Puig' you say. Must. Have. Agua Lavanda Puig.

    Default AF Lavender Aftershave

    Hello, Alan:

Ah, yes, Agua Lavanda Puig. I found it quite pleasant. By the way, I have a short review of it in the "Reviews" here at SRP.

Now, mind you, I am an eternal fan of Spanish Leather, by both Truefitt & Hill and Trumper, as well as Woods of Windsor. Agua Lavanda Puig is a pleasant variation from time to time.

When ordering Agua Lavanda Puig cologne, please be careful not to confuse it with the after bath version that comes in a 25 mm. plastic bottle. I like that, too, of course, but the cologne, of which I speak, come in a glass bottle. I found the best prices at jbktrading.com and Bowman Beauty and Barber Supply.

Another lavender aftershave I failed to mention in my first post is by D.R. Harris.

    Stay well.

    Regards,

    Obie

Wait! Hold the train - Harris makes a lavender a/s? I've never seen it. Where can I find it? That is a must have!

    Default LF Lavender Aftershave

    Hello, Jordan:

Connaught.com, in the UK, carries the Harris Lavender. It's actually "Old English Lavender Water." I have used it for aftershave.

Oh, I failed to mention one more place that carries Agua Lavanda Puig is the Soap Bar. Owner Jacqueline is a delightful lady.

    Regards,

    Obie

Mama Bears aftershaves are really good I can't say for sure she has lavender but she will custom scent it for you with whatever you want.

Did you use the AOS balm or gel? I find the balm a bit heavy but the gel is lighter and absorbs better. So if you loved the scent, but not the heavy balm, look for AOS lavender AS Gel.
