    Default favorite lavenders?

Anyone have any favorites in lavender? I use The Art of Shaving line now, and I think its great, but it seems to be about twice the price of everything else out there. It is the only stuff I have used, so I cant compare it to anything else, and I certainly have no complaints, but I wonder if I am missing something, as to why it is so expensive?

To my surprise, I loved Trumpers' lavender, but it's blended with other scents as well...

My favorite Lavander comes in essential oil form. 3-4 drops in my green clay mask, and it smels like heaven...

I have Vulvix Lavendar cream and it provides a great shave, but it does not have that pure and distinct lavendar scent. I also have lavendar soap from QED which is very much the real thing. Very strong and pure lavendar oil.

I tried a sample of the lavander shave cream from Taylor of OBS I didn't like the scent. I guess I will have to see if it has to do with Taylors product or the lavander scent.

I do like the Taylor lavender (with all due respect to Rich, of course. Props, yo.). I've only tried the Trumpers, otherwise, and I thought the scent was a bit weak.

Because it smells like the inside of a funeral home. And that's what I'd say about it if I were being charitable.

Lavendar, on the other hand, is a classic scent, even for a man.

I am on my second Taylors lavender and I love it. The Avalon organics has a wonderful conditioner and moisturizer cream that I like to use. I put a couple of drops of the conditioner in the shave cream mug.

Also... Bath and Body works has a great lavender scented room infuser thing.. You plug it into the wall and the room has a great lavender smell for something around 6 weeks.

Castle Forbes lavender essential oil shave cream. Fan-friggin-tastic. The smell is wonderful, performance is great, and it doesn't have any added dyes to stain your badger.
I also have a cake of Taylor's that I think is lavender, it's purple anyway. Pretty good shaving soap, but the smell isn't that great to me, and I don't like the coloring added to it. I have had it quite awhile and don't use it very often, and won't buy it again.
